Guarantee conditions

We choose the scale of brands and product we sell in our shop with special care in order to ensure first class quality and reliability. It can however happen that a certain product turns out to be faulty. For such occurrences - faults deriving from manufacturer’s mistakes or poor material quality - we ensure a guarantee period of 12 months. This guarantee-offer however does not – in accordance with statutory order 151/2003. (IX.22.) – apply for product whose gross purchase price is under 1.000,- HUF.

Guarantee policy and conditions:

In case of purchase in our shop (not on the WWW) you should produce the original purchase receipt (or invoice or the copy of these) in the shop in opening hours to exercise your guarantee rights.

Faulty products are examined to classify the nature of the fault. If the product can be repaired, we undertake to have it repaired in the shortest possible interval by professional maintenance services bearing the repair costs.

If the faulty item cannot be mended we will replace it if similar products are in stock. In ambiguous cases however we reserve the right – corresponding to prevailing provisions – to examine the product and make a decision on replacement within 15 days.

The seller’s warrantee and guarantee responsibility should be interpreted in accordance with Hungarian law, the Ptk. (civil code) and GKM (Ministry of Economy and Tranport) statute nr. 49/2003. (VII.30.) are proper law in this case.

In case of orders placed through WWW please call us, to send a DPD courier from the package, items being returned should be sent via insured, trackable delivery. Please note that you should be able to produce the original purchase receipt (or invoice or the copy of these). In special cases it is also possible to prefer your claim based on the exact date of order and delivery when the item can be identified based on these data.

If the product does not fit you because it is not your size you can choose another product of the same value and a different size in our shop. Original purchase receipt is again necessary for replacement guarantee. It is only possible in certain special cases that exact date of order and delivery are sufficient for guarantee claims.

Skis, snowboards and bicycle: guarantee covers faults deriving from manufacturer’s mistakes or poor material quality, while faults resulting from negligence, misuse, transport or repairs are not covered and therefore chargeable. Should a problem occur as a result of misuse we offer to give you an opinion on repair possibilities and a bid containing repair costs (to be paid by Customer).

Ski and Snowboard, bike boots: guarantee covers faults deriving from manufacturer’s mistakes or poor material quality, while faults resulting from negligence, misuse, transport or repairs are not covered and therefore chargeable. For guarantee services boots must be returned in original package with all accessories in undamaged condition. Repairs or change for damaged clips or straps are chargeable.

Ski and Snowboard bindings: guarantee covers faults deriving from manufacturer’s mistakes or poor material quality, while faults resulting from negligence, misuse, transport or repairs are not covered.

Ski and Snowboard, bike clothing and accessories: guarantee covers faults deriving from manufacturer’s mistakes or poor material quality, while faults resulting from negligence, misuse, transport or repairs are not covered.

Products on sale:

We offer a 3-month guarantee for products on sale.

Kids buy back scheme:

For children’s new skis (up to 130 cm in length) and ski boots (up to 245 mp) purchased in K2 Ski&Snowboard Centre we will give you a credit toward your next purchase of 50 % of the original value paid in the first consecutive year and of 40 % in the second consecutive year. Please note that the above credit percentages can change according to the equipment’s condition.
